Christina Trueba is an Associate Attorney at Gruber Law, PLLC, which specializes in the areas of Estate Planning and Probate Administration. Using her attention to detail in planning and a love for problem solving, Christina will assist in developing an estate plan and estate solution tailored to one’s specific needs.
Christina graduated cum laude from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Mass Communication. In 2019, she graduated cum laude from St. Thomas University School of Law earning her Juris Doctorate. Later that year she was admitted to the Florida Bar.
While in law school, Christina was an Executive Notes and Comments Editor for the St. Thomas Law Review and was the Secretary for the Elder Law Society. Christina was selected for an internship with the Honorable Vance E. Salter of the Third District Court of Appeal, where she drafted memoranda and summaries in various areas of law. She completed her pro bono services at Dade Legal Aid by assisting the public in completing petitions for dissolution of marriage and child custody. Christina also clerked for a boutique estate planning and probate firm in Coral Gables where she assisted with drafting estate plans and conducting research for more complicated issues. In her final year of law school, Christina interned for the Honorable Yvonne Colodny, Administrative Judge in the Probate Division of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, where she was able to assist multiple judges in the probate administration process. Christina earned the St. Thomas University School of Law Elder Law Certificate, which is only awarded to those that have completed a specialized program involving elder law, guardianship, and probate.
Christina was born to Cuban parents and has always called Miami home. During her daily commutes, Christina will often listen to various podcasts, including world news, true crime, and pop culture. She also enjoys trying out new restaurants of all different types of cuisines.
